You missed Armstrong County, Wayne Townshop…I dropped mine a few weeks ago.

    1. Thanks Cathy! We’ve received your panel and it’s lovely! I just added you to our map list. You’re in our general system, but weren’t cross-listed yet on the blog. Thanks for the reminder.

Our knitting group in McCandless Township, North Hills of Pittsburgh had our regular Saturday morning Knit n’at get-together today and so far will have 6 full panels ready by June lst. We will assemble all our pieces into panels before we drop them off. We’re getting pretty excited. Wondering if we can continue to make more panel beyond that date as long as we deliver them assembled? Let me know.

  5. I have 18 mats at my house that are crochetted from plarn (plastic bags made into 3ft x6ft panels. Could you use these? Some were made by Girl Scouts, others from women in Sewickley and Baden. We have had our others shipped to Haiti, but these do not have a home as of yet. They are very colorful. I could connect them for you, if you can use them. Please contact me.

    1. At this point we are required to stick to acrylic or synthetic yarns based on our contract with the county.

  6. Do you have any groups in Sewickley –Library or YMCA or local yarn shop? Also is a ‘Knit and Sit -In ‘ Planned? I would love to participate or help organize one if not.

    1. Yes we have someone who’s been organizing a group in Sewickley. I will email you her contact info!

I’m unable to access the sign page for making railing panels. Does this mean you have all of the railings covered? I wanted to make three additional panels in memory of relatives from Borough of Lincoln, Versailles, and White Oak. I’ll be working on them while waiting to hear. Also where can we find the labels that need to accompany the panels.

  9. Hi Joy!
We have you in our system which says you signed up to make one railing 15″ x 80″ and one 9″ x 105″ you should have received an email on June 23rd.

When you mention 3 additional panels do you mean the 34″ x 72″ because that deadline is passed we are working on the black acrylic railings.

Send us an email if this doesn’t make sense. Labels can be found on the drop off panel page: https://knitthebridge.wordpress.com/drop-off-points/ Hope this helps. And thanks so much!
